How the First Call Goes
As an independent insurance agency, we are free to put plans from several carriers in front of you. We open the call with a few simple questions. Who needs to be covered? Which doctors do you want to keep? What are you paying each month right now? If you have a plan today, we walk through its premium, deductible and benefits one line at a time before we recommend a thing.
Next we set a few options next to each other and talk through what you gain and give up with each, in ordinary language. If your current plan already does the job, we tell you that straight. The consultation is free. You pay nothing for our review, since the carrier you pick pays us. We can carry on by phone or move to a video call, whichever suits you.
Have These Handy Before You Call
- Your current insurance card or plan summary, if you have one.
- Names and birth dates of everyone who will be on the plan.
- A rough idea of your yearly income, since it can affect ACA Marketplace savings.
- A short list of the doctors you see and any medications you take regularly.
